28 brands behind the wall
- The build -
OX is an invite-only community for brand-side operators in fashion and lifestyle. Closed room. No agencies, no platforms.
For its first stretch it lived as a single page, which was fine for a launch and useless the moment the community had anything to show for itself. Photography from Manchester and London. Writing worth reading. Giveaways going out to members. A roster of brands that people genuinely wanted to see.
So we built it a proper home.
// the problem
Luke called the old site a glorified PDF.
A launch page can hold a promise. It can't hold a community with photography, writing, members and a waiting list.

- What it does -
01
The Room
Every member shot in the same studio setup - name, brand, job title. Logged out, the whole wall sits behind glass with nothing but an email field over it. Members sign in and the room comes into focus. Everyone else gets the outline and a nagging sense they're missing something.

02
A gate that means it
Insights, giveaways and profiles all gate properly. Access is the product, so access had to be built rather than implied - not a blur filter you can inspect your way past.

03
Partners, tiered
Headline sponsor gets the whole panel. Event sponsors get their own line. No wall of grey logos at equal size pretending everyone paid the same.

04
Event galleries
Real photography from the real days. When you've got pictures of a room full of the right people, that's the argument - so the images get the space and the copy gets out of the way.

05
An application, not a form
Three steps, and an invite code at the end for anyone sent by an organiser or partner. Same fields as a contact form, entirely different posture.
