1. Who we are

Waye ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based agency. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: hello@waye.agency.

2. What we collect

• Contact form: name, email, company, message.
• Event enquiries: name, company, ICP, timing, where you found us.
• Newsletter: email address (processed by Beehiiv).
• Technical: we do not run analytics cookies. Standard server logs (IP, user-agent) may be retained for security for up to 30 days.

3. Lawful basis

We process contact and event enquiries on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your request) and, where applicable, consent (newsletter sign-up under PECR).

4. Processors

• Supabase - database & edge functions (EU region).
• Beehiiv - newsletter delivery (US, with SCCs).
• Slack - internal notifications of new enquiries.
• Vimeo - embedded video on the homepage.

5. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months unless we enter a commercial relationship, in which case standard business records apply. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Under UK & EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@waye.agency. You may also lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

We use a single first-party local-storage entry to remember your viewer preference (SaaS / Agency mode). We do not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Embedded Vimeo videos may set their own cookies once you press play - see Vimeo's cookie policy.

8. Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change. Significant changes will be flagged on the homepage.
